Look forward to a cozy stay and experience the warm hospitality of Henk and Marco. We welcome you to the heart of the village of Mörtschach in the Hohe Tauern mountains, where traditional meets international. We are two Dutch people who have always had a passion for Austria and were able to fulfill their dream of moving to their beloved vacation destination a few years ago. At Gasthof Fair you will find everything you need for a comfortable nature vacation. We combine good quality and culinary delights with honest and comfortable hospitality.

In order to offer our guests even more comfort, we have recently renovated our rooms. All rooms are equipped with comfortable box-spring beds. After an adventurous day in the Tauern Mountains, you can treat yourself to a well-deserved sleep and rest.

We are always happy to offer our guests an unforgettable gourmet experience. Enjoy fresh delicacies and a cozy atmosphere in our Stüberl. For our house guests there is always a delicious buffet with regional products in the morning.
Our summer Activities
Gasthof Fair is located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern mountains.
Our location is therefore ideal for anyone who wants to experience and discover nature.
The most beautiful hiking trails and via ferratas are practically on our doorstep.
Our winter Activities
There is also plenty to discover for winter sports enthusiasts.
The shuttle bus on our doorstep to the nearest gondola station in Heiligenblut
can be easily reached in 10 minutes.
